This is the first character design tutorial (of three) I'm doing for the Mossflower movie project, in hopes that our designers will think a little more outside the style of the Nelvana series when creating our characters.

This is a lecture given by Chen-Yi Chang, who was the principal character designer on Mulan. As I've done here, he covers the bases, but he has a lot more chance to elaborate. He's also a professional. It's pretty good stuff. (He really gets into it at about the 27 minute mark)
