So! I graduated last week.

ah crap I am entering the real world and I don't feel ready DDD:

I will be moving back home while I apply for jobs, as I've been trying to take on 1000 things at once and never really put out applications before now. Ah, Kobb the jobhunting n00b.
So this will be a cool/interesting/scary time for me. Hooray?

In other news, our class' animated senior film is due to be completed in just a few weeks. I'll be working on finishing up the last few shots with the other animators while the lighters finish up their last couple shots, and then we'll start rendering! Exciting!

I have quite a few things I've drawn (including sketches from a couple zoo trips!), but due to recent events I've been too busy to spend much time scanning or playing in Photoshop. Which is a dang shame. I'm looking for sound clips to base another TF2 Flash animation around right now, because I feel entitled to have some fun animation time again. Maya has been kicking my butt as of late.

Thurs: BLU Scout (Team Fortress 2)
Fri: BLU scout again (heard of a meetup Friday afternoon!)
Sat: Avatar - random waterbender (or my calling-for-Medic shirt, if I don't finish in time... Kobb = sewing fail)

Hopefully I'll be able to get to some internet soon if any of you are going and want to try meeting sometime.

And so, I test the waters.

I know that tons of people have opened commissions lately, but since I'm having a little trouble finding a summer job, I'd thought I'd just check for interest.
So: if I were to open commissions, would anyone actually be likely to take me up on it? What sorts of images would interest y'all (pencil sketches, character sheets, concept/doodle pages, etc etc). Have any sage advice? Other thoughts?

I am new to the process so I'm just gathering information at this point. If it looks like there's enough interest... I'll start getting stuff set up. C:

So I finally get to try out Team Fortress 2 this weekend, 'cos it's free until Monday

I played some last night, was quite a noob, and still enjoyed myself immensely. And got to be the BLU Scout! yay! (this is significant because I was already planning to cosplay the BLU Scout one day at SDCC... hooray for no longer being a poser )

Definitely gotta get myself this game, once I earn me some money so's I can justify that. 8D

EDIT: I did, I DID buy it! It was half off that weekend! But now the rule is that I can't play until I get a job. And those be scarce at the mo'... hence why I am toying with the idea of commissions. And that scares me a little. 8|
