To me, though, the head on the otter to the right seems a tad large. Is it part of the style? Not to say that the pic doesn't look great, just something that I noticed.

I really do think muscles are fun to draw. Unfortunately, that means that everything I draw tends to have a little too much muscle definition, unless it's totally cartoony. X)
As for the backstory, it's pretty simple - Dak and Tem were swimming in the Abbey pond, and Dak was so energetic that he splashed water all over Temiree's tunic. Who definitely isn't happy about it, but Dakkan's all like "Dude, chill."
