I always knew that krogans would play football like that. The same way I play backyard football.

That's not american football. They are playing rugby, I don't see any helmets on them. Also American Football is for pussies, Rugby is for real Krogans.

But seriously, I really like this comic especially that in Cerberus Daily News there was a story about Krogans playing football.

Ah-ah-ah, watch it. ;)

American football has the pads and helmets because too many people literally died on the field without them. The sport is simply more dangerous, and was actually nearly banned in the early 1900s. The beauty with krogan football players is they have those pads and helmets built in.

The reason I settled on krogan football is because many krogan seem to love the chance to show off. Because of its play structure, forward passes, and active blocking, football provides that flashiness. I'm also a lot better acquainted with its rules, so I can treat it more accurately in comics and stuff.

However, I'm positive there would be a healthy krogan rugby league as well. And they'd probably argue over which is better as much as people do, haha. But probably with more stabbing. X)

It's weird. I never see football fans get all insecure and defensive about their sport. It's always soccer and, to a lesser extent, rugby fans.
I wonder why that is. They get insecure about it, whereas we football fans could really care less. We know who the better athletes are.

That said, I'd really love to see the Krogan play football. You're a freakin' genius, lady. Well done! I gave a little football to the Grunt toy on my desk at work. XD

Probably because soccer and rugby hardly get the time of day in the US, and their fans get bitter. I don't dislike them myself, but football is just what I latched onto!

That's awesome. If I had a krogan toy I'd probably look for a tiny football and do the same.

And rugby is fairly entertaining, you really can't go wrong either way. There's very little to not love about meatheads colliding violently.

Alas, "football" is the only word for it, so I can't avoid this kind of complaint, heh heh. "That sport that is rather like rugby but with downs and a forward pass" doesn't quite roll off the tongue. X)
